Trinity Ointment® is a handmade product, made in Hawick, by a pharmacist. It is a baby bum ointment and eczema preparation. Trinity Ointment® is suitable to use from birth and for people with nut allergies. It is also SLS free and free from parabens. Trinity Ointment® can be applied as often as required.
Our product is solely made by trusted pharmacists from T.N. Crosby Chemist in Hawick, a third generation locally owned pharmacy dedicated to the local community. Trinity Ointment® shares the same value of being independently made and pushes for natural product use.
What's Inside
Yellow Soft Paraffin
The yellow soft paraffin (unbleached) helps to soften the skin and provides a waterproof barrier allowing the skin to heal. This is the oil base of trinity ointment and it also protects the skin from any irritation caused by a wet nappy.
Zinc Ointment
The most important ingredient in a healing preparation. The zinc ointment is antiseptic and will help to prevent any infection on broken skin allowing it to heal quickly.
Anhydrous Lanolin (wool fat)
The anhydrous lanolin, like the yellow soft paraffin, creates a natural and very effective waterproof barrier. While also helping to soften the skin, the anhydrous lanolin is incredibly thick and helps to create a very thick end product. A very thick ointment means that you need very little for each application.
Eucalyptus Oil
A small percentage of eucalyptus oil sooths the skin and gives Trinity Ointment® its trademark smell.
